Vested Account Managers are responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of integrated programs, ensuring that client strategies and tactics are executed on-time, on budget and to the Vested standard. As an account manager, you’re responsible for delivering results to the client, to managing junior team members and reviewing their work, and being a primary point of contact for the client on a daily basis.

- Articulates back to client with the goals are and reports on ROI of program
- Shows deep knowledge of clients’ business, customer base, and products/services - can confidently discuss client’s business, products and services and how communications/marketing can support business growth
Maintains deep, successful relationships with key client contacts
- Has developed strong working relationships with the main client point of contact that Vested works with on a daily basis
- Spends time with client contact one-on-one to ensure there is an open, transparent dialogue between the client and Vested
- Client goes to you on a regular basis for counsel and feedback
Delivers client work that exceeds client’s expectations
- Reviews work being produced by the team to ensure output is up to Vested standards
- Partners with senior leader to define individual team member roles.
- Continually assesses if resources are appropriately allocated for both client success and team member skillset and growth
- Both leads and participates in the execution of programs that receive positive feedback from the client
- Demonstrates daily leadership in mentoring/guiding the team to ensure program results are exceeding expectations
- Identifies potential gaps and works with Senior leadership on team to pivot program as needed
Monitors and inputs account time into Freckle on time and on a regular basis
- Accurately inputs time into Freckle on time and weekly
- Works with senior leadership to manage account time if billing is over or under
- Utilizes Freckle reports and capacity planning tools to provide direction on client servicing to team members
- Reviews time reports with senior leaders to identify potential areas of growth or problems
Contributes positively to the Vested environment, acts as a role model for juniors and team members
- Is viewed as a positive contribution to the Vested workplace - is respectful, professional, inspirational, and a demonstrable servant leader
- Mentors junior staff either officially or unofficially
