Clients and Media Relations
Conceive and implement public relations strategies for assigned clients, in consultation with the relevant Director (DIR) and Account Coordinator (AC)
Direct and oversee campaigns on a day to day basis for all assigned clients (updating the relevant DIR and AC on all important aspects on a regular basis)
Responsible for the team’s preparation & timely delivery of key client communication e.g. monthly / quarterly reporting
Develop and maintain senior travel editor relationships across the national/consumer/trade and broadcast media and to supervise the cultivation of relevant media contacts across their team
Staff Management
Supervise staff within an account team, ensuring that the team works to their maximum efficiency
Manage Account Manager(s) and Account Executive(s) and assist in their training and development
- To ensure that you and your team participates in company activities and do your part to assist in the building of a company spirit, including the sharing of information and working as a team.
Reporting
Client issues to Account Coordinator and MD in team update meetings
Other issues including staff performance directly to MD
Preparation of quarterly written report to MD detailing client/staff performance within the period and results attained
Copy DIR on all key client correspondence or, if issues have arisen with media
Secure DIR approval on the submission of all key client documents (reports, final media schedules, strategy) & decisions
Keep relevant DIR informed of all key team & client meetings & attend as relevant

Inter Office Communication
On Group clients liaise with Account Directors working on the same client in different offices, as required by the Account Coordinator
Financial
Day to day responsibility for the profitability and efficiency of their team, using timesheet system, to be submitted to local MD
Monthly review of client invoices
Responsible for expenses approval for their team
New Business
Seek out opportunities to expand their clients to the PRCo office network
